Trick-or-Treat Street
Halloween week was full of lots of fun and festivities this year.
We started out the week with an Ames family dinner at our house followed by making caramel apples. Yummy!!

Monday night we had our annual pumpkin carving night. Brennen took the reigns on our pumpkins and carved both of them. I wanted Avalynn's to be "cute" and Bren made it look like her with the 2 bottom teeth and long eyelashes. The other was a "boy" pumpkin, checkin her out!

Friday night we all dressed up for our ward Halloween party. Avalynn was a bumblebee, I was the Queen Bee, and Brennen was the beekeeper (not to be mistaken for a bride!). Avalynn loved crawling around under the table finding food that had been droped on the floor (gross!), I swear that girl could eat all day long. We were nominated by the bishopric and won a costume prize!!

Saturday we decided we wanted to take Avalynn trick-or-treating so we met up with the Haynie's to hit up some houses. I felt weird taking her up to the doors to get candy, but every door that we didn't go up to she would point and use her noises to get us to go up to the door. She did not want to miss out on the fun with the big kids!

After trick-or-treating we went back to the Haynie's for a little bit and took some pictures of the kids.

It was a fun Halloween this year, each holiday gets even more fun with a kid!

Cassie your family costumes are the bomb! I love the bee theme-so cute!
It definiately gets fun with kids. Just wait for about 2 more years and she will be so much fun at Halloween. This was our first year in over 20 years not taking kids and it almost made me a little sad!
You three are so cute! Even Brennen! :) Avalynn is such a doll!
Those pumpkins rock! I love A in her little bumblebee costume and your family costumes are sa-weeeet!
