2 Months

It's hard to believe that Avalynn is already 2 months old! It has been the best 2 months of our lives! Some things she is up to at 2 months:

-63rd precentile for weight
-64th percentile for height
- Smiles all the time
-Giggles lots
-Loves to "talk" to us
-Growing new hair~ never lost her baby hair!
-Defiantly loves her binkie
-Sleeps 6-7 hours straight at night (I can't seem to get her to go longer, any ideas? Or does that just happen naturally?)
-Has found her hands and loves to suck on them
-Starting to kind of like tummy time
-Loves to look at books

She is darling! Just pray she KEEPS sleeping 6-7 hours at night. Porter was like that for the first couple months of his life, and then he started eating more often... eventually waking up every 2 hours. I've had a lot of friends have the same thing happen with their babies. SO... just pray it continues!
PS: Normally all I see in her is Brennen but these latest pictures I am seeing you in her!

yeah, about brian...can we say redneck husband?! he has officially crossed the threshold of madness when i saw those coyotes piled up and him driving to work. the best part is he picked me up at the byu library after training last night and i forgot what car he had. so there he is pulled up in front of the school, with the animals bloody in the back, lifting me up into the truck. yeah, i turned to see a girl shriek and look like she was about to faint. all i could do was laugh...and tell brian you have heard enough stories!!! i certainly have...:)

Oh wow.... you should be thanking your lucky stars that she's sleeping that long already! Most babies wake up every three to four hours during the night. You are blessed, my friend! You are an adorable family! Miss you all!

Oh how adorable! : ) Congrats! (I just stumbled upon your blog, LOVE it!).

Awesome about the 6-7 hrs sleep at night!! I wouldn't jinx it! : ) My baby, who just turned a year, will sleep MAYBE about 4 hours at night uninterupted. Enjoy it! : )

Holy cow! You are so LUCKY she sleeps that long! My little guy is 4 months and he won't go longer than 4 hours. The truth is a two month old baby is probably not going to sleep any longer than 6-7 hours because they still need to eat often. I wouldn't try getting her to go any longer right now, just be thankful she sleeps that long and keep your fingers crossed she stays that way! She is absolutely gorgeous by the way!

What a cutie!! I still need to meet her! That is awesome she is sleeping that long... but of course longer would be better! I read an awesome book called "Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems" by Dr. Richard Ferber that helps you to set better sleep patterns, and if nothing else helps you to understand sleep better so you can make sure they are getting the right kind of sleep. Anyway, it's helped us a bunch, and you're welcome to borrow my copy if you'd like. She really is a doll, good work! :)
