Nauvoo Trip

My sister, Cami, is serving a church mission in Nauvoo, IL right now. My family flew out to Nashville and then we drove to Nauvoo for a few days. Since she is serving in a church history mission they allow the missionaries to see their families, and even encourage them to come while they are serving. I am so glad I had the chance to go! It was my first time seeing Nauvoo and it was such an awesome experience. It was fun to have Cami give us tours and see what she has been doing while she has been in Nauvoo. My testimony was strengthened so much of the pioneers and what they went through, because they knew Joseph Smith was a prophet and the gospel was true.

I took our kids in 2001 or 2002 and it was such an awesome experience. I loved all the pictures. It brought back so many memories of being there. It is an amazing experience. That is so neat that your sister is serving a mission there. I have always thought that type of a mission would be the best!
