Life in My Shoes
My life the past couple months has been crazy! Here are the shoes I have been filling that have made it that way.
(Sorry if this bores you..Journaling, Remember!)
Wife Shoes- Brennen has probably taken the biggest hit of my crazy life. I have to admit that I haven't been the best wife the past couple months. I am usually running around the house like a headless chicken, making a mess as a go, so Brennen has taken on the responsibilities of cleaning, cooking, etc. He is so glad I am done with Student Teaching! So my wife shoes are coming back on and I'll be running!

Teacher/Student Shoes- Student teaching has been what has really made my life crazy. It was such a good experience and I really did enjoy it. It did take lots of time to be there from 8:15-3:30 everyday, and then do lesson plans, FCCLA, etc on top of the daily teaching. My favorite part was the relationships I formed with the students. There are some who were just so much fun, that I think of them more as friends now than students. It was fun to be just a little older than them so we were still on the same level with some things..and then again on completely different levels on others! I love too that they can call me Cassie now, and not Mrs. Ames!!

Madison Envy Shoes- Starting and running Madison Envy has been a lot of work, but so rewarding. I have loved this opportunity and can't wait for more free time to be able to concentrate more on it. I have done a few craft fairs/boutiques with Shantay this fall and they have been a great way to get my name out.

APX Shoes- I have still been working at APX Alarm as a secretary. I am so thankful for such a flexible job that has allowed me to cut back on time during student teaching. I love my job there, and am excited to go back to being full time.

Family Shoes- Being a daughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunt sometimes takes time, although time well spent! I write my sister who is on a church mission every week, try and talk to my other siblings every week, and usually talk to either my mom or dad every day. But I would spend all day in my family shoes if possible!

Church Shoes- There are always church responsibilities- Visiting Teaching, Service, Callings, etc.

Miss Rexburg Shoes- The last 3 years I have been on the Miss Rexburg Committee, and will be doing it again this year. I am the Business Manager and in charge of advertising, along with whatever else needs to be done. I really do love helping with pageants, they are one thing that I will always donate my time to.

Man you are super busy!! But all very rewarding things! Just prioritize!! Love you woman!
AS busy as it is, it's all worth it! You are a woman of many shoes and you wear them well!
Man, that is a lot of shoes to fill. And, I have to say that I love that the wife shoes were high heels and not slippers, even my mommy shoes are high heels. Who says we can't look good while fulfilling life's obligations!!!! Good luck. I am glad you guys are still doing well.
